America Rates Trump Spox: Poll finds most think Spicer and other administration members hurt Trump more than help

What the White House is Talking About:
President Trump this afternoon meets with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

What the White House Press Corps is Talking About:
Trump pulling out of the Paris climate agreement. An official announcement is expected later this week. Also, after yesterday's tense White House press briefing, which was Sean Spicer's first on-camera in two weeks, we're switching back to an off-camera gaggle with Spicer today.

Imma Leave This Here:
Because it's important. I actually think about what Barron must think all the time, and I'm sympathetic to Melania Trump for what she must either have to shield him from, or talk to him about. Pretty sure we all agree what Kathy Griffin did was way horrible and inappropriate, but this was a really important, and human, tweet from the President.
Ivanka Trump Brand Wrapped Up in China Labor Scandal:
The first daughter distanced herself from her clothing and accessories brand when she officially joined her father's administration, giving up management of operations. A Chinese factory that produces her namesake label's shoes was under scrutiny from labor activists for harsh working conditions. Now at least one of the activists who was working undercover at the factory, has been detained by police; two other labor activists are unaccounted for.

Guys, let's all try harder.

AP Stylebook Official:
Out today, the 2017 edition of the AP Stylebook, which for nerds and journalists like me is kind of a big deal. One new entry is proof fake news is real 👇. #meta

Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner, continues.

Rich Person Spends $377,000 on Purse, Breaks Record:
No, for reals. But it's a diamond-encrusted, crocodile Birkin -- which still doesn't make it OK -- but it kind of helps. Or, not. It's officially the Hermès Himalaya Nicolictus Birkin 30, with white-gold hardware and diamonds on the buckle; only one or two are made by the brand each year, and there's a six-year waiting list for a new one. Demand is high. There was apparently 15-minutes of "intense bidding" during the Christie's auction for this one, driving up the price to record-breaking territory. No word on the buyer.

Dress Like the First Lady:
When Melania Trump left last Friday afternoon for her trip abroad, a tipster told me her spiky nude heels (which I think are Manolo Blahnik BB 105's, currently on sale, you're welcome) kept sinking into the wet grass on the South Lawn as she made her way to Marine One. Upon her return, it appears she learned a lesson and went with a chunkier heel. She's wearing the mint version of Dolce & Gabbana's Venice Crystal-Embellished pump, which are sold out in that color -- and pink, and red, and blue -- but are on sale here in white. It's after Memorial Day, so have at it.

What Washington is Talking About:
"Covfefe."

What America is Talking About:
Kathy Griffin. Eight hours after TMZ published the gruesome-looking photo of her holding the bloody head of President Trump, she apologized. The photographer behind the shot, Tyler Shields, does a lot of work that has a sort of Terri Richardson vibe. He once set a Birkin bag on fire for a photo.

What Hollywood is Talking About:
SAG-AFTRA, the entertainment industry union, will begin contract negotiations today with the studios and networks.

America Rates Trump Spokespeople:
A Monmouth poll found most Americans think Trump administration members aren't helping the President. The poll asked if the following people do "more to help or more to hurt the president when they speak on behalf of the administration." Here are the results, ranked from least hurtful to most:

Sarah Huckabee Sanders:
More to help: 23%
More to hurt: 22%
Not familiar with the person: 46%

Mike Pence:
More to help: 53%
More to hurt: 29%
Not familiar with the person: 11%

Kellyanne Conway:
More to help: 28%
More to hurt: 40%
Not familiar with the person: 24%

Sean Spicer:
More to help: 28%
More to hurt: 42%
Not familiar with the person: 22%

And last but not least, the man himself, Donald Trump:
More to help: 33%
More to hurt: 61%
Not familiar with the person: 0%

Good to know 100% of America is familiar with who the president is.

Harper Suspended:
Nationals star Bryce Harper has been suspended for four games for his Monday brawl with the Giants' Hunter Strickland, who's been suspended for six games. Major League Baseball also fined the two players for an undisclosed amount, per ESPN. Both players will appeal, and were able to play last night in San Francisco.

But Harper didn't have a good game. He was booed at every at-bat and went 0-5. The Nats still pulled out a 6-3 win, though.

Jeb Drops Marlins Bid:
In other baseball news, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is no longer interested in buying the Florida Marlins, CNN has confirmed. Still interested in the purchase, however, are Derek Jeter, and an investing group led by Mitt Romney's son Tagg.

The Newseum's Latest Addition:
Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs' glasses, broken when he was assaulted by Congressman-elect Greg Gianforte, are headed to the Newseum, at their request.

America's Most Misspelled Words:
Google is out with a map of the most searched term people in each state look for when Googling "how to spell..." Some of them are actually hard words (like "pneumonia" in Washington, Maine, Michigan and Alabama and "chihuahua" in Arkansas), but smh at  some of the others. Like "Wisconsin," in Wisconsin lol ...

They Weren't Actually Trolling Trump:
A photo of five Nordic prime ministers all touching a soccer ball Monday was viewed by some online as a troll of Trump's "orb" photo from his stop in Saudi Arabia. But it wasn't.

A Norwegian official told the Associated Press the photo was about UN sustainability goals, and those goals were written on the ball.

Norwegian Primie Minister Erna Solberg posted both photos on Facebook, writing she didn't know what everyone in the "top photo was thinking."
