I'm in a frenzy today about this Louise Linton story, which, if you haven't read, please do so here. I mean, I don't know what is worse about her Instagram post -- the fact that she tagged the fashion designers, that she responded to a stranger by putting her down for not being wealthy, that she then deleted the whole thing in an attempt to make it go away??? | | Credit: @louiselinton/Instagram
Linton is a fan of fancy stuff. In June, ahead of her wedding to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, she did a story with Town & Country wherein she detailed the diamonds she would wear for the occasion, WITH PICTURES. The wedding itself was over-the-top luxe, too.
Reminder: This is the same woman whose memoir about her year in Zambia was pulled from sales because it was inaccurate and offensive.

Melania Trump yesterday wore a relatively somber black pinstripe dress for the eclipse viewing, and she kept it on later as she accompanied the President to his Afghanistan speech. It was this Jason Wu dress, which retails for $1,595. Wu, if you're playing along at home, is the designer responsible for both of Michelle Obama's inaugural gowns.
