| | Donald Trump Jr. arrives at Trump Tower in January. Credit: John Moore/Getty Images | | Don Jr. Literally Tweeted the Email: His exchange with a music publicist over the meeting to hear about incriminating info on Hillary Clinton Where's the Publicist: He left the United States last month "It All Goes Back to Moscow 2013": Miss Universe 2013 host tweets cryptic acronym | | | What the White House Is Talking About: Nothing public on President Donald Trump's schedule again today, but he does meet privately this afternoon with Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, Defense Secretary James Mattis and national security adviser H.R. McMaster. What the White House Press Corps Is Talking About: Donald Trump Jr.'s Russia situation, which just took a very interesting and revealing turn. Also, the White House press briefing is once again off-camera, with audio embargoed until after it's completed. Note: There hasn't been an on-camera briefing at all in July. Donald Trump Jr. Releases Emails and Statement and It's 😳 : At 11 this morning, Trump Jr. released a statement about his meeting with the Russian lawyer and also screen shots of his email exchange with Rob Goldstone, the publicist who set up the meeting. I would attach the images here, but the type is so small it's hard to see, so just click here and check it out for yourself. Also, wait, Page 4 is I think evidence of what everyone has been speculating? | | But First Tweets: They ran the gamut this morning, from the tragic Marine plane crash to President Donald Trump's hopes of getting the Olympics to Los Angeles. | | Speaking of the Olympics, Remember This?: It's from April 2016. Then-candidate Trump slammed President Barack Obama for trying to woo the Olympic Games to the United States back in 2009 -- knocking him for both taking the time to do it, and for failing to secure a position higher than fourth place. Not even a bronze, guys. "Do you remember when the president made a long, expensive trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, to get the Olympics for our country? And, after this unprecedented effort, it was announced that the United States came in fourth. Fourth place. The president of the United States making this trip, unprecedented, comes in fourth place. He should have known the result before making such an embarrassing commitment. We were laughed at all over the world as we have been many, many times. The list of humiliations go on and on and on." | | Meanwhile, Eric Trump is Posting About Wine and We Feel Him on That: While his older brother is mired in a tangle of Russia intrigue, and his dad is sidestepping the whole issue, Eric Trump is enjoying the literal fruits of the family winery. Monday night, in the midst of a cable news smorgasbord of stories about his family, Eric posted a video of the 2016 vintage of Viognier being bottled at the Trump Winery in Charlottesville, Virginia 🍷 . | | And Tiffany's Not Even In the Country: A lot of college grads take the summer to tool around Europe before getting real jobs or heading to grad school; Tiffany Trump is no exception. She and her boyfriend, Ross Mechanic, are posting a photo gallery from their travels, documented in a story by Vanity Fair's Richard Lawson. (Lawson refers to Tiffany as the "Vanessa Huxtable of the family," which is harsh, but kind of lol.) A Book of Michelle Obama Photos is Coming Out: It's called "Chasing Light," which sounds more like a self-help situation than a photo book, but I digress. "Chasing Light" is written by former White House photographer Amanda Lucidon, who for several years shadowed Michelle Obama, culminating in the 150 images showcased in the book. It drops on October 17, three weeks before Pete Souza's photo book on Barack Obama comes out. | | What Washington Is Talking About: Senate Republicans will hold a policy lunch today, a chance to see how they're feeling about health care after the July Fourth recess. One senior Republican source told CNN the chances they pass a health care bill at this point are, "Better than 1%. Not yet above 2% in my opinion." What America Is Talking About: Blac Chyna has been granted a temporary restraining order against Rob Kardashian that includes posting about her on social media, and she accused him of hitting her in a court document and told "Good Morning America" she returned two cars and jewelry to his mother's house "because I'm not going to let this man buy me." Poll of the Day: Pew is out with a look at the partisan divide of how Americans view institutions. The only one that at least 50% of Democrats and Republicans both say has a positive effect on the way things are going in the country is churches and religious organizations. Only 10% of Republicans think the national news media have a positive effect, and a majority of Republicans think colleges and universities have a negative effect. | | The Russian Lawyer Speaks: Natalia Veselnitskaya, who met with Donald Trump Jr. and other members of the campaign last year, denied ever working for the Russian government during an interview with "Today." When asked why Trump aides believed she had information about Hillary Clinton, she said, "It's quite possible that maybe they were looking for such information, they wanted it so badly." What Emin's Up To: The emails between music publicist Rob Goldstone and Donald Trump Jr. that Kate mentioned in her section say that pop star Emin wanted to talk to Jr. about incriminating information about Hillary Clinton. What's Emin up to? He posted on Instagram some photos that appear to be from a Las-Vegas-themed entertainment complex under construction in Russia: | | Credit: @eminofficial/Instagram Down the Rabbit Hole of Rob Goldstone's Facebook: And as for the music publicist Goldstone, he's quite a prolific Facebook user and his account remains public. The day of the June 9, 2016, meeting in Trump Tower, he checked in there: | | Credit: Rob Goldstone/Facebook The day after the election, he shared the link to Emin's "In Another Life" music video, writing, "He will be the only American President ever to appear in a music video..." | | Credit: Rob Goldstone/Facebook And three weeks ago, he wrote that he was soon embarking on a "12 month gap year." His first stop, according to a Facebook post, was London. | | Credit: Rob Goldstone/Facebook Goldstone's most recent posts are in Greece, and a woman posted on his page, "Just turned on the TV and saw you on CBS This Morning.........didn't get the beginning of the story. But, there you were!" Awkward! Did Thomas Roberts Know All Along? The MSNBC anchor was a host at the 2013 Miss Universe pageant, which Donald Trump owned at the time and which was held in Moscow and which Goldstone helped facilitate and which Emin performed "In This Life" at. Here's Roberts at the pageant: | | Credit: Victor Boyko/Getty Images He tweeted this morning that a Sunday tweet of an acronym that spelled out EMIN was a clue. "My gut told me it would lead to EMIN & ARAD AGALAROV / it ALL goes back to Moscow 2013." (Emin's father is businessman Aras Agalarov.) | | Credit: @ThomasARoberts/Twitter Pitbull Joins Jeb Bush in Marlins Bid: The rapper has joined the investment group that Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney's son Tagg and CNBC's "The Profit" star Marcus Lemonis are a part of as they try to buy the Miami Marlins, a spokesman told The Miami Herald. Clinton Hawks Nasty Woman Shirt: She tweeted a link this morning to a $25 shirt in the TBS Store that benefits Planned Parenthood. She, however, isn't wearing the shirt, merely holding it up. | | Credit: @HillaryClinton/Twitter Street Art Sighting: This drawing for sale at a Moscow souvenir kiosk is a play on an old propaganda poster of Joseph Stalin holding a baby, with Vladimir Putin filling in for Stalin, Trump for the baby, and the short-lived T-P Trump campaign logo filling in for the hammer and sickle. | | Credit: Mladen Antonov/AFP/Getty Images Send me your pics of political street art to coverlinehunter@cnn.com, tweet me @hunterschwarz or tag @cnncoverline on Instagram. | | | | | |
