The Republican effort to overhaul the Affordable Care Act is likely dead after Sen. Susan Collins announced Monday afternoon that she will oppose the Graham-Cassidy health care bill. Collins joins Sens. John McCain and Rand Paul, who have both said they will oppose the legislation, leaving it shy of the 50 "yes" votes it needs to pass.
Collins' announcement comes after Congressional Budget Office reported that millions of people would lose comprehensive health insurance by 2026 under the GOP plan.
