This farm is planting seeds of hope

"Start from a place of empathy, of awareness, of neighborliness." 7/16/18 Helping the Homeless Through Farm-to-Table Training Phillip Bozman feels a sense of peace when he's in the garden. Homeless for the first time in his life, he found Farming Hope. The San Francisco nonprofit recruits people experiencing homelessness to learn urban farming and cooking skills that can lead to employment. What's more, Farming Hope hosts weekly meals prepared by program participants. It's a chance for those with and without homes to share a meal made with love. Some say the water is too dangerous for swimming, but Mitali Khanzodé, 16, and her sister Anaya, 12, see the water as a place to make and break open water swimming records.  This Great Big Story was made possible by Wells Fargo. Summiting Mountains Without Sight Scaling the world's tallest mountains is a feat in and of itself—doing it while blind is extraordinary.
