Drag isn't just for adults. It's for kids, too. So says 11-year-old Desmond Napoles, aka, Desmond is Amazing. He got hooked on drag after watching "RuPaul's Drag Race" with his mom. And he went viral after voguing the entire route of the 2015 New York City Pride parade. Today, he continues to advocate for equal rights for all, and even started Haus of Amazing, a space where drag kids can come together and be themselves.

Art as a Protective Second Skin
It was 1992. Chicago artist Nick Cave was in turmoil over the beating of Rodney King. Sitting in a park, he noticed a twig on the ground. It was discarded—a symbol of how he felt as a black man in America. This small branch would inspire the creation of a wearable sculpture—a protective second skin of sorts—made entirely of twigs. He dubbed it a soundsuit.
