Ivanka Gets Hissed: Ivanka Trump spoke at the G-20 Summit today in Berlin, and when she said her father was a "champion" for women, the crowd didn't respond too well. "I think the thousands of women who have worked with and for my father for decades when he was in the private sector are a testament to his belief and solid conviction in the potential of women and their ability to do the job as well as any man," she said. You can read the whole thing here, but what I found most interesting was the phrases Trump has been using for years, like "I have no choice," used on his show when firing contestants and as President when explaining his views on policy, and "I was told," when confronted about inaccurate information, whether it was his ratings or the size of his electoral college win. Google Announces Autocomplete Feedback: Google Vice President of engineering Ben Gomes wrote in a blog post that the company is improving its search function, in part to combat "fake news." One change is an option to "report inappropriate predictions" on autocomplete. | | Image Credit: Google Google has come under fire for autocomplete suggestions that are racist or misogynist, and during the 2016 campaign, there was a conspiracy theory that Google was trying to hide negative autocomplete suggestions about Hillary Clinton.
