The Healing Properties of South Korea's Bamboo Salt
In South Korea, bamboo salt is as ubiquitous as the table variety, except it's considered a form of medicine used to combat disease, ingestion and pain. One of the country's most trusted forms of bamboo salt was invented by famed medicine man, Dr. Kim Ilhoon, who patented a top-secret, 1,300-day long process to create the highest quality version of the stuff. Now, he's handed down his practice to his son, Kim Yoonse.

Rudy Goes Robotic: Engineering a New Age of Football
At the University of Notre Dame, football is sacred. Student spirit for the game pervades all of campus—if you're not on the team, you're certainly rooting for the Fighting Irish come game day. But for one club of engineering students, simply "watching" football wasn't quite enough. By building and programming their very own football-playing robots, they're putting their own tech twist on America's favorite sport.

Battle of the Alpine Horns
Once a year, the world's top alpine horn musicians gather high in the Swiss Alps to compete for a special honor. While 16-year-old Tim Lin might seem like an unlikely alphorn enthusiast, he is quite the prodigy. Born in Germany to a Chinese father and a Belarusian mother, Lin took home last year's top prize in the youth category, and hopes to do it again this year.
