His section will return next week. | | What the White House is Talking About: President Trump and his family leave today for Thanksgiving in Palm Beach, Florida, at Mar-a-Lago. What the White House Press Corps is Talking About: A pretty smooth turkey pardon, tbh. Turkey Pardon? It's Handled: Trump really didn't blow it at all at the turkey pardoning this afternoon, handling his official duties like a pro, sticking to the prompter, being funny (but not too funny, not like Obama funny), and even, wait for it, petting the turkey. He made a couple of jokes, but nothing really stood out -- except for Melania Trump's autumnal coat, which was amazing, see below for details -- and the whole thing was relatively painless and over in less than 20 minutes. Barron Trump, 11, was also on hand for the ceremony, dressed sharply in a suit and tie. | | Credit: Andrew Caballero-Reynolds/AFP/Getty Images Also spotted, Tiffany Trump. One, for yesterday's official Christmas tree arrival, is Calvin Klein 205W29NYC, available here for $1,597.50. Today she wore this $1,625 Stella McCartney floral-patterned, jacquard tapestry coat over a leather pencil skirt and turtleneck. | | Credit: Brendan Smialowski/Getty Images, net-a-porter.com | | Credit: Jim Watson/AFP/Getty Images; stellamccartney.com | | | | | |
