THE WEDDING PARTY: Here's the lowdown on all the attendants (Princess Charlotte alert!), plus the reason Meghan won't have a maid of honor.

THE WEDDING GUESTS: What does it take to be invited to a royal wedding? Well, it helps to be a royal yourself -- or just very, very important.

WHO WON'T BE COMING: Unfortunately, due to health issues and some complicated family drama, Meghan's father Thomas will not be attending

The little details

The flowers: Can't go wrong with white roses and peonies -- and some other unique designer touches.

The cake: We have 12 whole paragraphs describing it here, but in short, it's going to be lemon-flavored (good call, guys).

The dress: Is there a more anticipated wedding dress than that of a future royal? Here are some expert guesses on what -- and who -- the bride will wear.

What everyone will be talking about

Meghan's walk down the aisle: In a bold feminist move, Meghan will make the first steps of her entrance alone, before being joined by Harry's father Prince Charles.

Non-traditional touches: The couple have asked an American bishop to speak at the ceremony. It's a non-traditional move, but one that was celebrated by religious leaders.

Meghan's family: Her father might be MIA, but Meghan's mother Doria Ragland is already making a royal impression in London

The couple's charity efforts: Instead of gifts, Harry and Meghan are collecting donations for a remarkable women's charity in India.

Meghan's citizenship: Yes, she's going to become a UK citizen once she's wed.

♥  Could you pass Meghan's citizenship test

Who's paying for all this: Fortunately, it's not the British public

What kind of souvenirs you can get: You don't need to be in London -- or even British -- to grab some historical swag. Hey, how often do you get to see a royal wedding?
