What the White House Is Talking About:
President Donald Trump departs once again this afternoon for Palm Beach and a long weekend at Mar-a-Lago.

What the White House Press Corps Is Talking About:
Flip-flop/whiplash/shift change/U-turn headlines re: Trump's changes in his policy posture.

Bannon on the Ropes:
Add this to your pile of Steve Bannon survival stories. Most say that while he's definitely on the outs with POTUS, he's a scrapper and will cling to his job till the bitter end. Ultimately, it's Trump's call whether Bannon will stay or go.

Meanwhile, Another Ski Vacation Because, Sure, Why Not?
Jewish Insider got a snap of Ivanka Trump dipping into the buffet in ski gear at the posh Four Seasons Resort in Whistler, British Columbia, where she and the family are apparently taking their second luxury getaway in as many months. And before you say, "Who cares?" to this one, how many senior White House staffers have taken a weekend off, much less an entire week, in the first 80 days of this nascent administration? Not any, I'm guessing. CNN reached out to the White House to confirm Kushner was also at Whistler, and did not hear back. However, if as JI reports, he is there, his decision on when to be away is also interesting; the first time, when his family did spring break skiing in Aspen, Colorado, Trump's health care plan was dying a painful death back in Washington. And this week, palace intrigue surrounding Kushner's feud with Bannon is reaching fever pitch.

Also, the Whistler trip means that despite a family photo Ivanka put on her socials wishing people a happy Passover, which appears to have been taken at the White House, she wasn't actually "at" the White House. "Pesach on the Mountain," which organized the Sedar at The Four Seasons, declined our request for comment on whether Javanka attended.

But these White House staffers "were" having Passover seder at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, which is decidedly not a Four Seasons resort.

Mar-a-Lago Dinged by Health Inspector:
The swanky private club's kitchen received 13 violations from the health inspector in January, just before the visit of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. Among the worst? Fish meant to be served raw hadn't undergone "proper parasite destruction." The Miami Herald story on the report says the club has had a lot more violations since Trump's attention turned to politics.
Argentina to Visit, Fashion Faux Pas to Avoid:
The White House announced Argentine President Mauricio Macri and his glamorous wife, Juliana Awada, will visit with the Trumps on April 27. The two leaders will have a bilateral meeting and, guessing here, the two first ladies will have some sort of outing. No word on an official state dinner, but if there is one, I would caution Melania Trump to check with Awada on her ensemble. She and Michelle Obama wore almost the exact same dress -- sleeveless boatneck metallic a-line -- during Obamas' March 2016 visit to Argentina. Michelle's was Oscar de la Renta.

I'd Read It:
Huma Abedin is reportedly eyeing a $2 million deal to write her memoir and spill the beans on her personal life with Anthony Weiner, and how his scandals collided with her professional world.

What Washington Is Talking About:
What Trump's sudden reversals on NATO, Janet Yellin, China, Syria, Russia and the Export-Import Bank mean.

What America Is Talking About:
There's going to be an off-Broadway "Friends" musical.

International Relations Can Be Hard:
Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal published Wednesday that he told Chinese President Xi Jinping his country could get a good trade deal if it "(helps) us with North Korea." But then he learned it's a bit more complicated.

"After listening for 10 minutes, I realized it's not so easy," he said. "I felt pretty strongly that they had a tremendous power (over) North Korea. ... But it's not what you would think."

Facebook Rolling Out Fake News Tutorial:
I mentioned Wednesday in this space how Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg saw fake news a next challenge the social network would take on. Then, like clockwork, a graphic on "How to spot fake news" appeared at the top of my news feed Wednesday night:

Clicking "learn more" took me to a page describing how users can flag stories they believe are "false news" and a list of 10 tips to spot fake news. Here are the first five:

Facebook says stories that are reported false "may be reviewed by independent third-party fact-checkers" who could mark the story as "disputed." Here's a notification they're testing that would pop up when a user shares a disputed story:

Armenian-American Celebs Turn Out for Premiere:
Cher and Kourtney and Kim Kardashian were at the premiere Wednesday of "The Promise," a film about the massing killings of Armenians under Ottoman rule, at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

Kim wrote a letter published last year in a full-page ad in The New York Times criticizing The Wall Street Journal for running an ad denying genocide. She tweeted for people to go see "The Promise."

Politics for Your Ears:
R&B duo OSHUN released an anti-Trump song titled "Not My President." You can listen at Fader, and this is the not-so-subtle single artwork:

Lyrics include "I wasn't with her" and "Malia Obama 2022."

"We're not saying "not my president" like 'Go Democrats!'" singer Thandi told Fader. "It's not the narrative of 'He's not my president, somebody else is.' It's more so like, 'None of y'all are my president.' "

Imagine Kim Richards as First Lady:
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kim Richards went on a date with Trump, according to a teaser of of next week's reunion episode published by TV Insider. "I had dinner" with Trump, she said, but she didn't go into details. "I don't want to talk about the President."

Imagine Omarosa as a "Real Housewife":
Omarosa Manigault tweeted Wednesday that she won't be on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" after Wendy Williams asked her followers if they wanted to see the White House director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison on the show.
