(Wild) Life at White House: Animals don't have to pass Secret Service to get in.

Secret Service Fires 2: Over the fence jumper who eluded officers for 15 minutes on White House grounds.

Politics For Your Ears: Kendrick Lamar raps about Obama, Trump and Fox News on his new album.

What the White House Is Talking About:
President Donald Trump is at Mar-a-Lago today; nothing official is on his schedule.

What the White House Press Corps Is Talking About:
That Trump is again at Mar-a-Lago. It's his seventh weekend there since taking office.

But We're Also Keeping an Eye on North Korea:
Because Saturday is the anniversary of the birth of Kim Il Sung, grandfather of Kim Jung Un, and the North Korean dictator might set off another nuclear missile test in his grandfather's honor.

There is (Wild) Life at the White House:
This is a very cool story about all the animals that live on and around the White House grounds, and there's a lot of them. Last year I watched what I assume is the same hawk in this story swoop down on a squirrel just inside the White House northwest gate and almost lift it off the ground to certain death. The squirrel apparently was in shock and didn't run for cover, and I was scared the hawk would circle back again, so I took a stick and shooed him under a bush. The guys in the Secret Service booth applauded. True story. You're welcome, nature.

Ivanka Trump's Boarding School Subject of Sex Abuse Exposé:
Choate, the expensive coed boarding school in Connecticut, is the subject of a lengthy New York Times article documenting the horrific abuse by faculty of students, dating back decades. Choate has a number of famous graduates, including Ivanka Trump, who was in the class of 2000. Donald Trump's presidential bid prompted this headline in a story/oped in the campus newspaper:

Our Daily Melania, #FBF Edition:
Melania Trump is also at Mar-a-Lago, with son Barron, according to a White House pool report. They'll likely spend Easter there, which got me thinking about her posted image from last year's holiday. I don't understand the hat on the duck, but I do love this shot. The dress was a La Petite Robe, but it's now sold out

This Pop-Up Shop Has Issues:
Fan of the T-shirt with a message fashion trend? Then get to Union Market in Washington today through Sunday when Pamela Bell will be selling her uber-popular tops at a special pop-up. Bell's Prinkshop is an advocacy-driven community that sells products highlighting everything from the problems of sex trafficking to the gender pay gap -- done with stylish design -- and 30% of all profits are donated to various causes. Insider tip: If you go Saturday, 1-3 p.m., you can bring your own white or light denim piece for a complimentary silkscreen, and Bell will also give you a free poster of one of her designs.

What Washington Is Talking About:
MOAB. The United States dropped its most powerful non-nuclear bomb, nicknamed the "mother of all bombs, on Thursday in Afghanistan, CNN reported. It targeted a "system of tunnels and cave that ISIS fighters use," White House press secretary Sean Spicer said.

What America Is Talking About:
The New York Post article headlined "Why I won't date hot women anymore."

Reminder:
Taxes are due Tuesday.

Secret Service Fires 2:
The Secret Service has fired two officers over their handling of White House fence jumper Jonathan Tran, 26, who was on White House grounds for 15 minutes undetected on March 10 and made it near a main door while President Donald Trump was home, law enforcement officials told CNN.

Manifesto Mailer Suspect Caught:
Police this morning arrested Joseph A. Jakubowski after a 10-day manhunt. The 32-year-old is accused of robbing a gun shop in Wisconsin and mailing a 161-page manifesto to Trump at the White House on April 4.

Christian Bale to Play Cheney:
The actor will play former Vice President Dick Cheney in an upcoming biopic that will reunite him with director Adam McKay and Steve Carell (as former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld), both of whom he worked with on "The Big Short" in 2015.

Facebook Getting Proactive in France:
Facebook has taken action against more than 30,000 fake accounts in France ahead of its presidential election (the first round of voting in April 23, with a runoff May 7).

These accounts were required to verify their identity and eventually deactivated if they did not, spokesman Tom Reynolds told me in an email. The accounts were targeted for activities such as repeatedly posting the same content or a high volume of rejected friend requests. "There may be some politically related content or activity associated with these accounts, but it was not the determining factor to take action."

Facebook Stories Leapfrog Snapchat:
Instagram's Stories feature now has more than 200 million users, owner Facebook said Thursday, putting it ahead of Snapchat's 161 million daily users.

Instagram Stories launched in August, and it was widely criticized as a Snapchat knockoff for replicating the 24-hour self-deleting format. Coming the month after Melania Trump's Republican National Convention speech that plagiarized parts of a Michelle Obama 2008 speech, the meme below went around for a bit, and it's still the first thing I think about when people compare Insta Stories with Snapchat.
Politics For Your Ears:
Kendrick Lamar released his new album, "DAMN" on Thursday night. It includes cameos by U2, Rihanna and Geraldo Rivera. (He samples Rivera's criticism of his 2015 BET performance on "BLOOD.")

Kendrick also raps about Fox News on "YAH." ("Fox News wanna use my name for percentage"), former President Barack Obama on "XXX." ("Donald Trump's in office, we lost Barack/And promised to never doubt him again") and the 2016 election results on "LUST." ("We all woke up, tryin' tune to the daily news/Lookin' for confirmation, hoping' election wasn't true/All of us worries, all of us buried, and the feeling's deep/None of us married to his proposal, make us feel cheap.")

Why We Worship:
Ahead of Easter Sunday, Gallup asked Americans why they go to church or other places of worship. About three-fourths said sermons that teach them about Scripture or help them connect religion to their lives was a "major factor" in why they go.
