With the ability to grow up to 8 inches in length, it's one of the largest scorpion species in the world. As nocturnal creatures, they spend the majority of their lives underground, sometimes burrowing as deep as 6 feet. Unfortunately, due to habitat loss, the future of the species remains uncertain.
