"I want to feel what the cherokees felt when they walked these trails" 10/28/19 Walking in the Footsteps of the Cherokee Nation Lamar Marshall walks in the footsteps of the Cherokee Nation. A former land surveyor, he has spent the last 12 years mapping over 1,000 miles of Cherokee trails. They were well-traveled routes that connected the towns of the Cherokee Nation in the southern Appalachians until 300 years ago, when white settlers arrived and took the land from the Native Americans that inhabited it. These historic footpaths might have been lost forever if Marshall didn't step up. This Great Big Story was inspired by Genesis. Meet the Man Behind Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees Kane Hodder has a killer résumé full of credits, but he might be best known for playing Jason Voorhees in four of the "Friday the 13th" films. Jason is a machete-wielding murderer who ups the creep factor by wearing that freaky hockey mask.
