The Model Shipbuilder Carrying on Macao's Proud Seafaring Tradition
Wan Chun grew up among the shipyards of Macao, building over 300 boats during his time as a factory apprentice. And while Macao's shipbuilding days have come and gone, Chun is passing on this proud legacy in his own small way. Today, he builds intricate, handcrafted model ships as a testament to the seafaring history and impressive boats he once knew as a child.
In Korea, the secret sauce has long been gochujang. From kimchi to bibimbap to Korean BBQ, gochujang is a favorite among chefs everywhere, and is poised to soon become as big as Sriracha.
