Two days before her mother died, the father of Ana Beatriz Cholo's youngest son, Jude, left her. Feeling lost, she decided, on a whim, to climb a mountain. Now, she's teaching her 11-year-old son to embrace the peace and freedom the wild can bring.
Devastated by the tragic death of his 16-year-old son from a motorcycle accident, Dadarao decided he would do something about Mumbai's roads—which like much of India's—are notoriously damaged. He's filled more than 600 potholes to date, and his work is far from finished.
