Sheila Nevins is a legend in the documentary world. No exaggeration. During the nearly 40 years she spent as executive producer and president of HBO Documentary Films, she championed non-fiction filmmaking and brought the genre to a wider audience. "Paradise Lost," "Going Clear," the Oscar-winning "Citizenfour"—these are just a few of the more than 1,500 credits Nevins has to her name. At the age of 80, Nevins is now embarking on a new chapter of her storied career as head of MTV Documentary Films. |
